Call for Referees
The IEEE GOLD Egypt is organizing the finals of the 6th FIRST LEGO League in Egypt which is a robotics competition for age 9 to 16. Bringing theory and practice together in a revolutionary program, FLL empowers participants to use what they learn, combined with the latest technology, to solve the Challenge – a current scientific or technological need facing the world.
This year challenge is about: Body Forward ( Engineering Meets Medicine)
Being an FLL referee means you are judging the robot game which is the key fun of the FLL experience! Children are competing with their robots to accomplish the missions, and get high scores. A training session will be organized for all referees with the head referee before the competition.
The finals will be held on the 25th, 26th of March 2011 in Alex and 1 and 2 April 2011 in Cairo. Locations will be confirmed shortly.
If you are interested in being an FLL referee and you have some related experience, drop us a line at: referees@fll.ieee.org.eg with the subject: “Volunteer as FLL Referee”.
